Would rate 0 stars if I could. I have been waiting on a package for over 2 weeks that was supposed to be 2 day shipping. I filed an online complaint and even called but never received a call back or email. Turns out my package was sent to the wrong address and then never attempted to be delivered again. I called this post office and explained my situation and was then very rudely placed on hold for 30 min. I hung up and called back only to find out the Office was now Closed!! Very unprofessional. On the other hand my local post man is very friendly.
I usually avoid the post office and go to Mail Boxes on Braeswood. But if I send something by mail from Mail Boxes, a postman from the Bellaire location picks it up and then it is lost or arrives three or four weeks late. When I asked a manager at the Bellaire Post Office what was happening to my mail, she said that her office did not pick up the mail at Mail Boxes. Avoid the Bellaire Post office if at all possible.
This post office is the closest one to my home. I frequently went to there to mail certified letters and packages etc. The service is good overall except that of the Africa American woman (age of around 30). She is very impatient, and easily raising voice even yelling instead of giving clear guidance when customers were consulting. So avoid her if you go to the office.
I always use USPS Express. Money Guarantee. This time still not delivery on time, suppose delivery on 26th of Oct. 2015. But today 28th of Oct. 2015 still show it is at Austin,TX post office. She told me already delivered, which is not true. She said her SYSTEM not same as mine (Online checking). Do not want to give my money back.
This place is terrible. The automated postal machine took my money and did not print the postage. Also, the USPS staff cannot be bothered to stock the priority mail envelope & box rack with supplies, as shown in the attached photo.

I wish i could give negative starts. This place NEVER ANSWERS THE FREAKING PHONE. EVER. Dont even try it. And then you get to the place and they have one station open even though there are five people there... UUGGGHHH
I called them for 50 minutes today and they did not answer the phone once. Needed to set up an appointment for a passport application. If I did this at my job I would be fired on the spot. Absolutely ridiculous.
I have been on hold for 40 minutes just to schedule an appointment with the Passport office to have my signature and ID validated. Very frustrating when they suggest an appointment to expedite the process.
Lazy employees who REFUSE to do their job, When you call the office, they let it ring, then take the phone off the hook so you get a busy signal when you call back
I got a p.o box for 6 months. And found out today that the whole time my mail was being sent to the wrong box. I deserve a refund.
At the window for a package for 10 minutes with no answer. Person in office yelled for me to go to side door. Poor service
Stopped by to ship something off, the lady working was extremely helpful and helped get my package sent out quickly.
